Giving Back

At Social Boomerang we believe in giving back to our community and so we continually partner with people and groups that can benefit from our talents.

Ben and Sandy Blanquera are especially invested in developing the local entrepreneurial and technology scene. Over the years, the Blanqueras set out to catalyze growth, encourage people and build a strong sense of community when they co-founded the grass-roots movement called TechLife.

Today, the Blanqueras continue to lead TechLife to help foster a greater culture and passion for social media, Internet, Web, and other cutting edge technology, ultimately leading to increased innovation.

By bringing together technologists, entrepreneurs, start-ups, social entrepreneurs and green companies, we encourage people to connect, learn and grow and combine existing groups. It is only with the continued support and effort of many people who volunteer time with TechLife, that we have been able to serve more than 1400 members with nearly 350 events.

Sandy serves as the chairperson of the American Marketing Assocaion's Social Media Special Interest Group and works to bring fresh social concepts, new ideas and loads of learning opportunities to the marketing and business community.

The Blanqueras help support the growth of COSI as Advisory Board Members.

Social Boomerang regularly invests in the future of entrepreneurship by mentoring college students, speaking to entrepreneurial clubs and mentoring startup organizations and individuals with creative, new business ideas.
